Vampire is just easier to say..Heme's father fled, leaving Heme to be raised in the human realm by their mother.Heme is sensitive to the concept of mortality, due to their mother and primary caretaker being human, so they make the choice not to feed on non-consenting beings.Because of this, Heme developed severe anemia and grew fatally ill. Despite their condition, they were stubborn. Their condition worsened until their life as a vampire expired. SHE WAS MET WITH THE FATE OF BEING A SOULLESS VAMPIRE AND CRUMBLED TO DUST!!! THE END!!!!!!... just kiddingBecause they were born of a human mother, this made Heme unique from other vampires - they bared a soul. This allowed Heme to pass into the afterlife and become a ghost!Estranged from the demon world, Heme continues exist in the human realm. In this new life, Heme is plagued with the hunger of their past-life but remains true to themselves. Instead, they are sustained by kind offerings from friendly humans!
